Show your Spirit – Let your gesture, release everyone’s pressure!

The past few months have been difficult and devious for the whole world as countries around the globe have faced the pandemic of Corona Virus. Battling through the unforeseen crisis, each family has fought valiantly along with their loved ones who have suffered from the virus. There are hundreds of unfortunate stories that the warriors of Corona have fought and had a tragic ending, but we also have many chronicles about patients recovering and have come back home after winning these battles! The battle is not only fought by the patient, but also by the whole family. The feeling of happiness and joy is beyond words when these families reunite with their loved one who is just back from the menace!

We at EsselWorld salute all the patients of COVID-19 and their families and encourage the families of the recovered patients to spread their happiness and positivity to the world through us by sharing a ‘home coming’ memory captured on a video. As we approach our nation’s independence day, we only wish for a country that is free from this life threatening virus and this difficult period that is upon. So join hands with us and be a part of our ‘Show your Spirit’ Campaign and we will feature your videos on our social media platforms on 15th August 2020.

How ‘Show your Spirit’ Campaign works?

Step1 - Register yourself on www.ewshowyourspirit.com

Step2 - If you’re loved one was hospitalized due to Corona Virus and you have a ‘home-coming’ video, then upload the same on your instagram or facebook with #showyourspirit and tag EsselWorld as well

Step3 - EsselWorld will feature the videos of the participants on its social media pages- Instagram and Facebook on 15th August paying them a tribute

Dates to remember:

  • Entries start from – 30th July, 2020
  • Last date of entries – 13th August, 2020

Gratification:

  • 1st 100 registered participants gets FREE entry ticket to EsselWorld valid till 31st March 2021 only on weekdays.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. This campaign titled as ‘EsselWorld Show your spirit’ is organized by EsselWorld and is subject to the following T&Cs. Participation in the Campaign shall be deemed as the acceptance of the T&C by the Participant.
  2. Any individual of any age group can participate in this campaign
  3. Registration for this campaign will start from 30th July 2020. Last date for registration & submission is 13th August 2020
  4. To participate in this campaign, participant needs to register themselves on the given link.   6. In the event of any violation of the T&Cs, EsselWorld Leisure Pvt Ltd. may in its sole discretion disqualify the entry from the campaign with immediate effect. By participating in the campaign, the participant also represents and warrants that he/she shall solely be liable for any and all action (criminal/civil) arising there from, whether in India or internationally, and shall also be liable to indemnify Licensed Entities (as defined), and any of its licensees etc. for any loss, claim, dispute, disruption caused to the Licensed Entities.
  7. EsselWorld Leisure Pvt Ltd shall not in any manner be responsible and/or liable for sharing, editing, morphing, digital alteration, manipulation, identity theft and/or unethical exploitation of a participant’s content(s).
  8. All incidental costs, applicable taxes or levies related to the gratification/prize, if any, shall be exclusively borne by the participant.
  9. The decision of EsselWorld Leisure Pvt. Ltd. in connection with the campaign shall be final, binding and will be non-contestable.
  10. The participant represents and warrants the following:
    1. Any information, content submitted by participant shall be true, correct and in compliance with all applicable laws.
    2. The content shall be suitable for presentation in a public forum.
    3. The content shall be original work created by the participant and that it shall in no manner infringe any rights including intellectual property rights, including without limitation, the copyright of a third person/party.
    4. The content shall not contain information known by the participant to be false, inaccurate or misleading, of any nature.
    5. The content should not be obscene, vulgar, defaming, denigrating women, artist, celebrity or children, hurting religious sentiments, depicting violence or against the public policy of India.
    6. The content shall not impersonate, infringes any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy, moral rights, and/or any other applicable personal or proprietary rights.
    7. The content shall not promote or advertise any product(s), service(s) or brand(s).
    8. The content shall not contain any material that is, or may reasonably be considered to be, hate speech, whether directed at an individual or group, and whether based upon the race, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or language of such individual or group or that is otherwise unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, corporation, or political body.
    9. The content shall not contain material for which a participant was compensated or granted any consideration by any other third party.
    10. The content shall not disparage any person or party.
    11. The content shall not contain content that depicts alcohol, tobacco or narcotics.
    12. The content shall not in any manner depict or encourage harm or injury to any person, party, animal.
    13. The content shall not contain text, images, videos or artwork not created by the participant.
    14. Participant understands that once the content has been submitted in terms of this Campaign, all rights (including intellectual property rights) in and to the content shall be deemed to have been licensed irrevocably and non-exclusively, in perpetuity, and throughout the entire world, in favour of EsselWorld Leisure Pvt. Ltd for any kind of usage including without limitation the commercial exploitation through any medium.
    15. The content is/are not created by using any of the automated computer system. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by online service shall apply and has to be borne by the Participant.
    16. No license fee, royalties, charges, etc. are payable to any person/party/copyright society anywhere in the entire world, in relation to the content and the content are rights clear.

On Your MASKS, Get Set, Go!!

As people become more conscious of everyday interactions, masks are likely to become a part of our day-to-day attire and the demand for creative masks will only grow.

Masks are going to become a wardrobe staple since it’s going to be mandatory to wear them in public. It will become a way to express oneself and we have already started to see a wide variety of creative & innovative masks with slogans in the market. Since fashion is also a form of expression Masks are going to be the next big accessory.

To harness this opportunity, to create a hygiene-safety awareness and to make citizens self-sustain in making mask & face cover we launch a platform where people can come and present their creativity with respect to mask. A platform where an individual can come and showcase their unique mask creation from the material available at home.

How to participate in the challenge?

Step1 - Register on ewmakeyourmask.com

Step2 - Create 3 different masks of your own and click selfie wearing each one of them

Step3 - Upload the pictures on Instagram or Facebook with the #ewmakeyourmask and tag EsselWorld

Step4 - Throw the challenge to family and friends

Make the most of this campaign to showcase your creativity encouraging your family and friends too to participate in this wonderful campaign as we at EsselWorld will be donating ten times the number of masks as to the number of participation we receive from you to a charitable trust. So 'more the ten times merrier'.

Following are T&Cs for participation:

  3. All participants from 101st registration will get certificate of participation which will entitle participant 50% discount on EsselWorld entry tickets valid till 31st March 2021 only on weekdays
  4. Winners – 10 winners will get couple entry (2 FREE EsselWorld entry ticket) valid till 31st March 2021 only on weekdays

After many phases of lockdowns, the EsselWorld family is all pepped up to reopen its gates and welcome you! For the very first time in the history of the 30 year old amusement park, we have been non- operational. However, we were always connected with you in these difficult times and we never stopped entertaining you through our digital platforms. On the other hand we were also ensuring the park is safer to visit again making it cleaner, hygienic and in a healthier environment. With newer guidelines, rules and regulations designed by us, you will now be able to enter your beloved park with your loved ones very soon.

Here’s a glimpse of how we were engaging with you, entertaining you and also in the meanwhile preparing to reopen our gates-

  1. Social initiative

    EsselWorld has always believed in serving and taking care of their guests first. We joined hands with BMC, the Mumbai Police and NGOs who helped in distributing meals to the daily wagers and underprivileged in Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, Borivali, Charkop, and Colaba. The Gorai Police too helped the Park in distributing these packets to the daily wagers and adivasis of Uttan and Gorai Village. The food was sourced, prepared and sealed by the staff of EsselWorld at the premises itself ensuring the hygiene. This activity was initiated on the 30th of March and more than 7 lakh food packets were distributed.

  2. Park Maintenance

    Spread across an area of 100 acres, EsselWorld has around 2 Lakh trees and plants thereby making the park pollution- free. From the time of its inception, EsselWorld has believed and has ensured of keeping a cleaner and a greener environment for the past 30 years. We also have 3 rainwater harvesting reservoirs that supplies water to the entire Park including Water Kingdom. The water park has an incredible filtration plant that processes 90 lakh litres of water every 90 minutes. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we have ensured of keeping our park and rides cleaner and sanitised in all aspects and will be continuing to do so regularly. Our washrooms, locker rooms, restaurants, etc are regularly cleaned and sanitised.

  3. Events

    The one stop entertainment destination continued to engage and entertain with its guests even during the lockdown. We launched EsselWorld LIVE on 12th April, a platform where we host celebrities and renowned personalities on our instagram page- @esselworldofficial for a live session. Post hosting a renowned digital magician in our first session, we associated with Book My Show and hosted celebrity guests like Raghav Juyal, Abhishri Sen along with Muddasir Khan, Sajjive Balakrishnan- the fastest caricature artist in the country, Mommy Blogger- Tanya Khubchandani, renowned DJ Notorious and DJ Loyd, international comic artist- Dheeraj Verma, renowned comedian Parag Kansara and many more who did live sessions on our EsselWorld Instagram page.

    Tapping, into various genres of entertainment, we also explored fitness. We hosted ‘EsselWorld Virtual FunRun’ on the 24th May 2020 in association with You Too Can Run where more than 500 participants ran their respective marathons indoor. The platform began with its registrations on 11th of May with a registration fee of Rs. 95 with an option of 5 kms, 10 kms and a kids obstacle run. Part of the amount was donated to NGOs that are working towards the daily meals for the underprivileged.

  4. Readiness for reopening of park

    With the unlocking phase begun in India, EsselWorld too is prepared to reopen its gates with all the necessary precautionary measures. We have carefully designed the new guidelines keeping in mind the health and safety for everyone’s wellbeing.

    • Limiting the number of guests: To begin with, we will be limiting the number of guests in our Park, irrespective of high demand.
    • Social Distancing: Social distancing is mandatory everywhere which will have to be maintained by staff as well as the guests right from the ticket counters to queues for ferry, entry in the park, restaurants, washrooms, rides, etc.
    • Mask: We will not be allowing guests and staff to enter the premises if they are not wearing a mask, however, we have also put up stalls at the entrances and even inside the park at various locations that will be selling masks and hand sanitisers.

    • Sanitisation: Since the outbreak of coronavirus, sanitisers have played a very important role and we understand its significance. Hence, the entire park, rides, our ferries, buses, toy trains, ticket counters, entrances, restaurants, washrooms, merchandising shops, lockers, locker rooms, all are sanitised and will be cleaned at regular intervals. Moreover, we will be placing sanitiser dispensers at various entry points as well as vending machines at an interval of 100-500 meters within the park.
    • Touch-free cashless ticketing: We are also encouraging touch free, cashless and paperless ticketing system where guests can pay online on our websites, other online aggregator websites, or even e- wallets.
    • Health and Safety measures: We understand the severity of the pandemic and the concern of each and every guest entering the park, hence we have also designed a self- declaration form which will have to filled in by each and every person entering the premises. On entering the Park, each visitor will be checked for a temperature by a paramedical officer.
    • Restaurants: Our restaurants have always maintained a standard of hygiene everywhere and we endeavour to continue maintaining it. Along with sanitising them we will also be sanitising the tables and chairs and place it at a distance to ensure social distancing.
    • Our staffs’ our family: Our employees on the other hand are a part of the EsselWorld family and hence their safety too is equally important to us. Each of our staff members enters the premises with the masks on their face while their temperatures are also checked at the entry points along with sanitizing their hands.
